Air Jordan Just Entered the Clog Wars With Its Own Crocs-Like Sandals | GQ

Apr 04, 2025Apr 04, 2025

On Monday, Crocs threw shade at Nike over its ReactX Rejuven8 lookalike in an Instagram Story: “We're living rent free in your head huh,” it was captioned. Then, 24 hours later, the Jordan Hydrip—another lookalike—was unwrapped, firing a salvo into the debate. Well, buckle up, son, because the summer clog war is only just getting started.

Jordan Hydrip ‘Seaglass’

Revealed in four colorways—‘Black,’ ‘Seaglass,’ ‘Digital Pink,’ and ‘Game Royal’—the silhouette’s is made entirely from a single piece of foam. Big perforations are peppered throughout the toebox area to keep everything nice and breezy, and around the back, you'll find a velcro fastening that looks a lot like Crocs’ Sport Mode-ready strap. This is decorated with Jordan Brand’s signature elephant print, which was first introduced in 1988 with the legendary Air Jordan 3.

The Hydrip sits on top of an extra chunky midsole and lined with a grippy rubber outsole to keep you on your feet. It’s all finished off with a Jumpman logo stamped around the lateral heel, just in case you needed a reminder that these are actually Jordans.

Jordan Hydrip ‘Digital Pink’

This year, Jordan Brand is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Not only are they introducing new models like this one, they’re also digging into their archives to bring back some OGs. Expect holy grails like the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Euro’ (now renamed the ‘Alaska’) and the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 ‘Deep Green’ to return very soon.

Jordan Hydrip ‘Game Royal’

The Jordan Hydrip is set to drop this summer in full family sizes. It'll be available via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select stockists globally for $50.
